A two-year-old who was killed on Friday in Christchurch was standing on the back of a scooter when it collided with a truck.

The scooter was being driven by the toddler's 22-year-old mother, who survived the crash. The two-year-old died at the scene.

I been talking to a few serving mates about the VE commodore "I" cars. And what they thought of them.

The feeling I got from them as they hated them. Manly they were slower, heavier, handling was no were as good as the old VZ. Brakes fade was more prone under P1 conditions. ( I thought I was listening to last years Bahurst excuses) Also no where to put you Mag light so it just roams around in the passengers foot well, You keep banging you leg on the fire extinguisher. They bottom out ...

Hey, First off I'm an 18 Year old male. I'm only about 160cm tall and 65-70 kilos, Pretty lightweight yeah. I thought I'd ask here before signing up for the seminar, Are there physical size/strength requirements? I'm confident that I'll be able to do the 2.4km run, As I'm physically fit, But not very strong. In addition, I look younger than my age. Are these things going to hamper my application at all? Or is it only fitness thats required?

I've been looking seriously at Policing as a career ...

Tetraplegic drink driver 'lucky to avoid jail'

A tetraplegic woman who was caught drinking driving has been told by a judge that her disability probably kept her out of prison.

In Taupo District Court this week Karmen Donaldson, 35, of Taupo pleaded guilty to charges of driving while forbidden and driving with an excess blood-alcohol reading of 115mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood. The legal adult limit is 80.

Well...I went and bought the orange box, and so far so good. Portal is very cool, but I think It's taken me about 2 hours to get to the end of it...if that .

Apparently I can unlock/download new maps?

and Team Fortress 2...WOW! and WOW! The whole style of it is pretty cool, but it's such a fast paced game!! Going to take me a while to get the hang of it. Much faster than DOD:Source.

Hi all

I am new here and the next step in the process for me is the PAT. I can do everything quite easily (even more than 20 push-ups ), but as for that run; just cannot do it in the allocated time... Have attended a PAT rehearsal. How many chances do you get or is the idea definitely to pass your PAT the first time around? Any tips?
